ear question

Postby gomerbulls on Wed Apr 02, 2008 1:14 pm

I've got an ear question that I have not seen before.
I've got a 7 month old Eurosport pup that his ears are up and look good but are touching each other on his head, then some days his ears appear to have a dimple on the inside of the ear close to the head that allows them to almost lay flat on his head crossing each other. Kinda hard to explain. Should I brace the ears or will he come out of this on his own?
He has been done teething for quite some time. Thanks.

he is on a good raw diet with vitamin suppliments

Ears should be standing straight up by 5 mos. I would add some calcium to the diet, but sound to me like you got some soft ears and they may never stand straight. :x You could try putting them up and see if it helps.

update
I went ahead and supported the weak spot by glueing a strip of plastic to the back side of his ears with Tear Mender for 3 weeks. They look good now and are not bending.
